The saying goes "It's who you know, not what you know". Well in this case I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time...the gym. Lockdown number two had been lifted and I was busy pumping hardcore iron when I got talking with this guy I have never met before.
We get chatting and he reveals to me he is in a band. Lightbulb moment. I immediately dialled in on that and before I knew it had got his number and had arranged an interview for two days time.
His name was Sherlock, Will Sherlock. He is the guitarist for pop-punk band Royals. As a band they have toured the country playing at independent venues "a band of our stature, they're the only places we can play at" Will said.
